Chapter Philanthropy & Service
In addition to national partners, collegiate chapters also support local causes through philanthropic fundraising and hands-on service on their campuses and in their local communities.
Our chapter is nationally recognized for our group community service hours completed per semester. We believe that supporting local and national organizations is important to not only our personal growth, but to the growth of our local, national, and global communities. Each semester we hold at least one on-campus philanthropy event, giving all the proceeds to either our national philanthropy or a local charity.
We host an annual Zumbathon and Fall Festival to raise money for our national philanthropy, and also our annual Bounce weekend - where all of PSUA's Greek Life spends a weekend raising money by bouncing basketballs for a local charity. Past Bounce weekends have raised money for organizations such as Mending Hearts, Mountain Lion Backpacks, the Iuzziolino Park Project, and more.
